With Honor

I have to be in the right mood to listen to straight up posi-core a la Comeback Kid and Reach The Sky, but sometimes a band will really capture my musical attention, and that‘s just what With Honor do with this debut EP. With Honor hail from Massachusetts and play pissed-off posi-core with sincerity and talent, and these five songs suggest the beginning of something great to come for the band. Signing and releasing this debut on Hatebreed vocalist Jamey Jasta‘s Stillborn Records, I think it will only take a little while for these guys to win over the masses.
If you‘re into this type of music, this EP is a must for your collection. I‘ve really gotten bored with what hardcore is offering these days, but it‘s bands like With Honor and Comeback Kid that are renewing my faith. I would suggest certain tracks on this to be sure to check out, but I really think they are all worthy. This gets my vote for one of the top ten hardcore records released in 2003.
