I generally don't have much to say on the music front, but it makes me very sad that two of my favorite local-ish bands in recent years have broken up: Chicagoans Blame Twilight called it quits (I'm still searching frantically for their song 'Echo'), as have old friends of mine Bastian (I reviewed their Fingerprints EP back here). I'm especially disappointed at the latter disbanding, since they were putting out material that was absolutely killer. (Go listen to their song "Shame" on their myspace linked above and tell me that wouldn't be perfect on Christian alternative radio.) Alas, the good ones are very rarely with us for long.
