Most readers might have to shake the fuzzies outta their brains for this name, but I was a big fan of Tonic in the 1990s, when they topped the rock charts with tunes like 'Open Up Your Eyes.' Now frontman Emerson Hart has a solo album coming out, produced by Bob Rock(Our Lady Peace, Metallica), called Cigarettes and Gasoline. The album drops in May, but the first single, 'If You're Gonna Leave,' hits radio next month. Check out some music over here.
The legendary Point of Recognition are reuniting for one night only, that night being one of the two nights of Facedown Fest's 10th anniversary doings out in California next month. I will not be there, but y'all should definitely go. [TVU]
