South Florida originals Evergreen Terrace have signed to High Impact/Metal Blade Records. High Impact is Tim Lambesis'(As I Lay Dying) new effort. Makes me wonder what happened to his last one, Clockwork Recordings. Maybe a simple name change. [truthexplosion]

They're coming to Ottawa Valentine's Day with Hostage Life, and Attack In Black have a new tune posted over here to prep the kiddies for their arrival. For the longest time, with a name like theirs I'd just associated them with the scads and scads of metal bands that run amok nowadays, but they're quite not that, and quite damn good.

I'm a Guitar Hero junkie, like thousands of others, and I have an xBox at home that belongs to my roommate - and thank God, since the xBox-specific version of GH coming out April 3rd will have songs from My Chemical Romance, Pearl Jam and more.
