One of my best friends - though we're far apart and often don't talk for long spells at a time - is smoking hot, as proven by her Myspace page.

And she's 24 today. Happy birthday, Kristine.

And now, some news.

Apparently some Cali punk band called Supernova is suing CBS over the TV series of the same name - well, the show is called Rockstar: Supernova, starring a bunch of bloated has-beens who used to be in Metallica and Motley Crue. As stupid as the show is - and I've never once seen, and can still call it stupid - for some unknown punk band to take one of the Big Three networks to court is just as dumb. [buzzgrinder]

System of a Down bassist Shavo Odadijan will be busting out the live bass for the Wu-Tang Clan on three east-coast dates, the first of them tomorrow night(August 18th) in New York City. Apparently he's been in-studio collaborating with RZA for a while now. Pimp! [theprp]

Kittie are making a new record. Personally, I wasn't aware they were even still a band. Good for them.

Bert12 will love this: Primus are rumoured to be planning a North American tour this coming November and December. I personally do not care.
