Some news, now, from everyone's friends at Smallman Records. The Reason's new album is "phenomenal", according to the label flacks, and the band appeared on E-Talk Daily on CTV here in Canada recently to promote themselves(hi Adam!) and the hype new record. Go to CTV.ca to find that little piece of tape, as I'm sure it's a scream, as are most things involving the Reason - formerly, of course, Sewing With Nancie. Boy, that brings back memories.

Comeback Kid said farewell to founding vocalist Scott Wade at a crazy hometown show in Winnipeg to over eight hundred people. The band are touring with Gorilla Biscuits this fall, then heading into the studio to work on Album Numero Tres.

New music from Glass Casket(Abacus Recordings) is online! Check out 'Too Scarred To Live' over here. With two dudes from the mighty Between the Buried and Me in their ranks, how could these guys miss?

Anyone remember an absolutely angelic young opera phenom named Charlotte Church? Raised Catholic, and having sung for the previous Pope earlier in her life, Church has been given an eight-episode, eponymous TV show over in England, where she's called the current Pope a Nazi and raised hell, generally speaking. She's been blacklisted by a publisher and no doubt more backlash is on the way. Check out the full story over here [rockrebel]
