We have a new featured interview up with Los Angeles rap bandit Pigeon John; go hit that up.

And when you're done that, we finally(finally) have pictures up from sweetdisaster Big Cheese's first trip to Cornerstone Festival in Illinois last summer over in the Gallery section to the left there. Warped Tour photos from later in the summer will be up soon!

Floodgate Records has a few bands on tour: Life In Your Way are hitting the bricks with Strikefirst Records band Inked In Blood, Forever Changed with Showbread through November 19th, and Mourning September with Project 86 - untill October 30th anyway. So if you're in the great United Stated o' America, hit up their websites(their names, and then "dot com") for the itineraries. Plus The Myriad's new album is getting rave reviews. And Pittsburgh's Transition are dropping their Floodgate debut next year. Busy label.

The Killer In You: A Tribute to the Smashing Pumpkins is seeing a gradual release beginning in November, with worldwide availability happening January 31st, 2006. Featured bands include Armor For Sleep('Today'), Poison the Well('Soma'), Hopesfall('Eye'), Eighteen Visions('Quiet'), Vaux('1979') and more. Reignition Records is behind the endeavour, with samples available through their myspace.

This is good news: acclaimed producer Aaron Sprinkle(Acceptance) will work with Dead Poetic on their new album; he also handled the production on their last(New Medicines), and the difference from their debut was palpable. I'm excited for DP's newest, which will officially include 'The Victim', the one new song they played on last summer's Dead Summer City tour.

Demon Hunter have three or four new songs on their purevolume site from their new album The Triptych. Yay melodic metal!
