Check out a band that sounds like The Bled fronted by Thursday singer Geoff Rickley. They're called Post Break Tragedy. Kickin' it oldschool, straight out Jersey!!

The Militia Group(Copeland, Denison Witmer, etc) picked up a band called Fielding recently; I saw the news but didn't think much of it til I discovered that the band features two guys named Adam Ferry and Eric Balmer - both formerly of Plankeye, and it's been a very long time since I had reason to mention Plankeye in this space, considering it's been years since their breakup. Eric's wife Beth also fills out the ranks of Fielding, and it says here that if you liked Plankeye's Relocation album, you'll like this new endeavour. I wasn't huge into that album, personally, but it's all a matter of taste. Discover Fielding over here. [IVM]

Got an email from a sweetdisaster supporter in Winnipeg(what up Armin) saying that the Peg stop of the Strung Out/Comeback Kid/Bane tour was just ridiculous, so hopefully you have your ticket to the Ottawa show this Friday. I don't, but that's okay. Also, CBK vocalist Scott Wade apparently referenced the now-defunct Figure Four from the stage, saying something to the effect of, "If you want Figure Four, email xpipesx@hotmail.com", or something close to that. Not sure if this is a joke(sure sounds like it), but hey, you never know.

The newly-licensed Life In Your Way just showed up at sweetdisaster HQ. Like I mean, my-roommate-just-walked-in-with-the-mail showed up. Awesome.

If you were waiting eagerly for the upcoming Killswitch Engage live DVD, well, wait some more; it's been bumped back to a November 22nd release through Roadrunner Records. Sorry 'bout that. [theprp]

Whoa, a new Demon Hunter track is up on ye olde internet; it's called 'Ribcage', and I've always been a DH fan in the past, but if their upcoming album The Triptych sounds like this, I might be elevated to Obsessive Fanboy status come October 25th, when the record drops. Check out 'Ribcage' over here.

Horse the Band(crazy, those cats) have been added to the Dillinger Escape Plan/Between the Buried and Me tour going from early November through the middle of December. Awesome bill.

P.O.D. are going out on the Fall Brawl tour later this year - with Staind and Taproot. Ugh. I'd go for Payable, and that's it.
