Evergreen Terrace are revving up to release their new album Sincerity Is An Easy Disguise In This Business soon, and another song from said album has made its way online; check out 'New Friend Request' over here...wait a second here, isn't that title a reference to myspace.com? And didn't Evergreen Terrace write a song called 'Dear Livejournal' on their first album? I sense a trend here. [pastepunk]

In what'll be a mother of a show each and every night, Stretch Arm Strong and Haste the Day are going out on a big ol' co-headlining tour this summer; sponsored by purevolume.com and called the Summer Free Fall Tour, the trek will feature openers Kane Hodder(been hearing that name everywhere lately; someone remind me to check them out) and direct support Still Remains(ditto that sentiment). SAS and HTD are both releasing new albums in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled. Dates will be posted when we get 'em.

I didn't really like their last album that much either: this here is the first positive(ish) review I've seen of the new MxPx album, Panic. It is better than Before Everything and After, and you know why? That twerp from Good Charlotte isn't on it, thank you very much.

Another great 'zine bites the dust; The Scene has grown too big for founder Dan Stephens(what up boy) and his crew to manage with enough time put into it, so they're packing it in - following their covering of As I Lay Dying's CD release party in their mutual hometown of San Diego. Best wishes, guys.

Incidentally, no thanks to the schmuck who stole my copy of the new AILD while I was watching Copeland play last night at Babylon. It's coming around, punk.

Anyway.
