Sparta guitarist Paul Hinojo has busted out of Sparta's ranks - to join back up with his former At The Drive In cronies Omar and Cedric in The Mars Volta. Can't say I'm entirely surprised. Hinojos will replace former MV "sound manipulator" Jeremy Ward, who passed away two years ago from a heroin overdose. Sparta, meanwhile, will continue recording their third album.
