May 13, 2005

So it's ten after nine; my weekend started effective at seven am this morning following the end of my work week, and I'm starting things off right by researching the schedule for Cornerstone 2005 in Illinois. Observations thus far:
- it sucks beyond words that Dogwood will not be playing
- ditto that for Stavesacre
- the first hardcore band I ever heard, No Innocent Victim, ARE
playing - however, it does kinda suck that LA Symphony are
scheduled for the same time on another stage. Booo!
- Thousand Foot Krutch are - get this - headlining the Main Stage this year. How 'BOUT dem boys from Peterborough?? They've come a long way
- check out the lineup for the HM Magazine Stage Sunday night:
7pm: Society's Finest
8pm: Winter Solstice
9pm: Symphony In Peril - presumably with whoever their new
vocalist, whoever that is
10pm: The Chariot
That is a sick, sick set of bands.

Incidentally, if you're in the Ottawa area reading this, I'm looking for a ride back from Illinois, and maybe to the festival as well. Email me if you're interested in sharing a vehicle. Obviously I help pay for gas, etc etc.
