Relevant magazine is always top-notch, and Orlando's finest have outdone themselves with their current issue: 77 Artists That Will Matter in 2005. On the cover is rapidly-rising trio Mute Math(featuring singer Paul Meany, formerly of Earthsuit), and there are featurettes on Thrice, The Shins, Thousand Foot Krutch and tons more, a feature piece on Mae written by Project 86's Andrew Schwab(the boy can write), and news that Kanye West's next album will be called Late Registration, due any time now. Oh, and Outkast are doing another album that's apparently a return to their roots. Does that mean 'Mrs. Jackson'-roots, or Atlanta-dirty-south-circa-1994 roots? I hope for the latter.
The Hillsong: United band is touring Canada in May; the 24th will see them here in Ottawa at Bethel Pentecostal in the west end. A freewill offering will be set up in lieu of admission. I'm excited.
