So Saturday afternoon I'm invading the Rideau Centre downtown with the lovely Katie, blitzing through the Christmas shopping, and my phone rings and it's Ryan, informing me that Beloved have broken up. Alas, unlike a lot of internet jabbering, it turns out to be true: drummer Joe Musten(I believe that's his name) decided to leave to start a family or somesuch, and it follows that the band has since decided to pack it in. This is a terrible day. There's a statement from the band as a whole over here, not that it really matters, since I'm already weeping over here. BOOOOO!!!! Oh, and vocalist Josh Moore will be playing on in a project called Classic Case. This entirely sucks.
A prayer request to throw out there - for those of who choose such things as a life path: our web guy Al(that's his ad there on the bottom right) has a friend - his son-in-law's best friend in fact - Scott by name, who, shortly after having his first child with his wife, was diagnosed with brain cancer. He remains a light to the hospital staff who attend him as well as his wife, and prayers are appreciated. Thanks y'all.
