The new issue of HM magazine arrived in its plastic-wrapped glory this afternoon; featuring cover artists Demon Hunter and a piece with Ferret Records kinda-screamo band boysnightout, it's some solid reading. Hit up their website for subscription information and all that fun stuff. Now I wait with bated breath for the new issue of Relevant to show up.

Some late-notice news from Indie Vision: two of their might rock and roll attacks in the form of Dismissed and Next In Line(good band) are gonna be at Cornerstone Fest, which starts day after tomorrow down in Illinois. The two bands are playing the Decapolis.com stage; for set times and such hit this here up.

How 'bout this here: Norma Jean drummer Daniel whatshisface(can't remember his last name, sorry) is behind the lens for the making of Cool Hand Luke's first video, for lead single 'Cinematic', from their last record, entitled The Fires of Life - and a great record it is too.

In related Floodgate Records news, Denison Marrs are back on the attack after a break for having a baby. One of them, anyway. That makes us happy. Word.

As is sometimes the case with the folks at Relevant magazine, I couldn't possibly make it any funnier, so I'll just excerpt: "A 17-year-old female employee dressed as pizza mascot Chuck E. Cheese was pelted with pizza and threatened with a beating by an angry mother. The parent told police that the mascot wasn't paying enough attention to her child. Let's assume the mom just had a bad run at skee ball..." GOLD.

For the sake of sheer irony, in all its inherent hilarity, I'm gonna link to something I never ever thought would be linked to in any space I was involved with: a review of Hanson's latest. WHEEEE! I've joined the ranks of the sardonic elite!! [bandoppler]
