This Just In: Beloved have Ottawa listed on their website in the tour section; this would be the trek also bringing Glass Casket and Between The Buried And Me. All killer bands, except that there is no Undeground in Ottawa anymore; that place went under two years ago. There IS an Underground in Hamilton, and here's hoping that it's a mistake in the name of the venue and not the wrong city altogether. The date listed is July 29th.

Congrats to our boys and girls at Pluto Records down in Texas; they've signed Virginia band Acedia, whose label debut EP So Esoteric will be recorded in September for a fall release. Way to be, kiddies. [qchc]
The Suicide Machines have holed up someplace to start writing their next album, the followup to last year's A Match and Some Gasoline. That was a killer record, and we'll have a review of it up soon, because SideOneDummy Records was really nice to us and so far we've totally screwed them over. But all shall be forgiven when I rave about the album. [aversion]
