Mad props go out to Josh and the ilubricateyou crew for putting on one heck of a show Tuesday night down at Ye Olde Club SAW. It was Is Grace Enough's CD release, and the ILY squadron brought in Hostage Life and Protest the Hero from Toronto, along with openers In Time and Ottawa noise butchers Experiment In Terror(who absolutely slaughtered with the thrash/grind attack). It was a sellout on a Tuesday night in winter, and that alone earns my respect.
Check it out: Zao is coming back to Cap City. Four years ago this month I went to Molly McGuire's down in the Market(long since out of business) to see Zao play, and they stiffed, and I was peeved in a big way. I've waited four years for this: May 12th at Babylon will see the legendary soap opera tearing it up alongside Remembering Never, Scarlet and Twelve Tribes. I'm stoked. [onegoldenspoon]
