I tried to find any place in Ottawa that had Blindside's new record About A Burning Fire yesterday; the album dropped Tuesday and according to a source at absolutepunk, it sold eleven thousand copies the first day outta the gate, with virtually zero help from MTV or radio. How 'BOUT that? I will track this album down! I will!

I've heard good things about the new Autopilot Off record; the band will be here in Ottawa at some point in March or April or something - I think with Senses Fail - and you can download the album right over here to decide for yourself whether you love it to death or not.

How 'bout THIS: Craig's Brother is back together! Remember them? Tooth & Nail band? Who knew? Check out their website for all the details.

Finally, something interesting on MuchMusic: they do these Exposed feature things on different artists, and so far they've covered the likes of Blink-182, that girl from Destiny's Child and Our Lady Peace, etc etc etc. LAST night I was up late working on some sweetdisaster stuff, and they did one of these things with P.O.D.. Interesting stuff; those guys have a great sense of humour.

Every Time I Die have re-released their last album, Hot Damn!, with a DVD containing the video for 'Ebolarama' and some other goodies; the band embarks on a North American tour in the spring with As I Lay Dying and Scarlet. This particular trek features two nights in Toronto(March 27th and 28th), and the next night in Montreal. Ottawa gets the shaft. Booooo. [soundthesirens]

I ain't heard them yet, but Moments In Grace are on the rise. Check out this review of their debut EP, These Days Will Fade. MIG features former members of twothirtyeight and As Friends Rust.

Short update today. Work calls. Peace.
