What up, Switchfoot fans in Los Angeles? The band is shooting a video for 'Dare You To Move'(one of their best songs ever in my humble opinion) February 24th(that's five days from RIGHT NOW!); if you're in the L.A. area and get Switchfoot emails with alarming regularity as I do even though I'm not from anywhere near L.A., check your inbox frequently.
This made me laugh, from the Tooth & Nail email update: "The Mike Bullard Show is the David Letterman show of Canada"! Oh man, I might simply collapse of mirth. For the record, Mike Bullard doesn't TOUCH Letterman. Not even in the same hemisphere.
In other T&N news, Holland have changed their name to The Lonely Hearts. I didn't like them much as Holland, and I probably won't like them much more with the new moniker, but there you go.
Massive congratulations are in order to Dan Stephens, founder and editor of The Scene, who recently got engaged out in California, his home state. Way to BE, white boy!
New Found Glory finally have another new record coming out; release date is May 18th, and it's called Catalyst. I'm such a fan of the pop-punk sometimes. Disgusting! [absolutepunk]
The Evan Anthem are hitting the road with Spoken as of tomorrow, February 20th. I would love to see that show. Go find the dates and venues over here!
Rumours abound that The Juliana Theory's newer stuff sounds more like Emotion Is Dead. That makes me happy, not that I didn't like their major-label album Love; I did. Just not as much as their older stuff. Shut up! Get away!
