Tomorrow night, February 3rd, Fear Before the March of Flames will NOT be rocking Club SAW(67 Nicholas St.) with openers Is Grace Enough and Tribe of Judea. I gotta work, so I won't be there, but apparently Fear's van exploded, and there's "no way" they'll be able to play either tonight or tomorrow night here in Ottawa. Tourmates Salt the Earth are bailing also. Bummer!

Haste The Day, who you'll be hearing lots about when their debut album hits soon, have been added to the Demon Hunter/Dead Poetic tour; you can see if they're destroying your city here.

There's this band Benea Reach from Sweden(I think) who contain within their mighty ranks ex-members of Selfmindead, a terrific band. Anyway, this band is making some noise and have promised some recorded stuff this year. Check out their website for more info. Man, Selfmindead killed. [hxc]

One of the few mainstream Christian bands I can tolerate, Paul Colman Trio, are separating as a recording/performing act as of February 21st. Paul himself will remain down in Nashville as a solo artist. This is being termed an 'indefinite hiatus'. I think it sucks. For the statement from the band, check this out.

This here is a Rhymes Monumental tune featuring Playdough. I've never heard the former, but if the latter is anywhere near a song, it's classic hiphop. Go listen!

Big news from one of Ottawa's best bands: Buried Inside(SO heavy...SO good) are gonna be in the studio from February 9th through the 23rd recording their new record; who's gonna put it out remains up in the air. You know how GOOD these guys are? Ridiculous! Oh, and ex-Botch man Matt Bayles is producing! Impressive. [lambgoat]

Finger Eleven are playing a slew of dates on the US east cost with - get this - No Motiv. Pretty cool show. Go find the dates somewhere; I'm too lazy to post them. [theprp
