The two blokes behind junkedcamera, Tyler and Brian by name, had themselves a heck of a week last week, attending something like 1.8 million shows in those seven days...no, seriously, the lads caught sets from Rancid, Thursday, Moneen and Taking Back Sunday, among others, and Brian got a speeding ticket precisely three minutes onto U.S. soil. Holy Crap Take Two: California rapper Dirt, most known for his collaboration on a P.O.D. record back in 1996, severed his finger with a table saw recently; he was rushed to hospital where doctors were able to reattach his finger using veins borrowed from his wrist. Good Lord. The MC is said to be doing well...as well as a guy in that position can doing, I guess. Wow. Godspeed, friend. [relevant]
Further Seems Forever's Jason Gleason has contributed a track to a new Immortal Records Christmas compilation. I don't care. I will never buy this thing. It also features the likes of MxPx and New Found Glory. I still won't buy it.
In related P.O.D. news, rumour has it they'll be headlining Cornerstone Festival's main stage next summer, after a two-year absence from the fest. It will be their only Christian festival appearance of the summer. Who wants to take me??
We have an attendance estimate in from Denver over the weekend: around four thousand folks. Man.
