Summer of Darkness, the newest release from Demon Hunter, is nearing completion out at Seattle's Compound Studios. I don't really care, but I know some of you like them, so there you are.
February will see the recording of Underoath's followup to 2002's breakthrough album The Changing of Times. The band's new vocalist is a fella called Spencer Chamberlain, formerly of This Runs Through.
The new Slick Shoes best-of album(came out today) contains three brand-new songs. I'd listen to those, but not buy the entire thing.
THIS is cool: Thousand Foot Krutch frontman Trevor McNevan is appearing on TSN's Off The Record on November 20th(that's Thursday, kids). I've always liked that show. And on top of THAT, the band will hit MuchMusic headquarters for a 1:30pm feature that same day. Hot diggity. 2004: the Year of the Krutch. Watch for it.
If you noticed that the entire post thus far has concerned Tooth and Nail Records bands, that's 'cause it's all from email updates. Now on to other schtuff.

pastepunk: I've said it before, and I'll say it again: the best on the web.
This is hilarious: a list of The Worst Zines Ever. Probably the only reason we're not on it is because we're brand-new. God help us avoid such scorn. *smirks*
Our boys at TheSceneZine are officially the greatest humans who ever trod the earth, because they plugged this here space for the first time ever, anywhere. We're on our way NOW, we are! Onward!
