So two-sixths of sd.com's venerable staff hit the MxPx show in Montreal last night. From what I gather, intrepid reviewer Steph T. had a good time, while the ever-agitating Dave Mac almost got thrown out for some yet-to-be-determined reason. These are the fine folks bringing the ruckus to you, kids. More on this later, I presume.
There are interesting goings-on at the Smallman Records camp, mainly the continuing breakout success of Brampton, ON's Moneen, currently on tour down in the U.S. with Saves the Day and Taking Back Sunday, promoting their latest album Are We Really Happy With Who We Are Right Now?. How's that for building a rep? Check out the label; they's good people.
Band to check out: from Ste. Catharine's, Ontario, Sleeper Set Sail. Get on it.
All the latest on Jars of Clay's upcoming album and tour with Caedmon's Call can be found right over here.
